Let's talk about Red Light Therapy! We researched all the different Red/LED panels available before choosing our series of lights. We chose one of the most advanced lights available. Our lights combine six powerful wavelengths of light, combining blue+/Red+/NIR. Blue light of 480nm wavelengths, a blend of deep red light consisting of both 630nm wavelengths and 660nm, alongside an optimized near-infrared blend of 810nm, 830nm, and 850nm wavelengths.
Using the different wavelengths of blue and red light together has a therapeutic effect that treats every layer of the skin. All of our light panels have the ability to select between using only the R+ array, only the NIR+ array, or both at the same time. Both lights can also be adjusted. For virtually all applications we recommend using both arrays all of the time for maximum benefits.
Please Note- usage of NIR light on areas of existing hyperpigmentation may increase this and we recommend using only the RED/R+ on these areas.
What is Red light therapy? Red light therapy is a safe, natural treatment method that shines red and/or near-infrared (NIR) light onto the skin via light-emitting diode (LED) bulbs. As the light absorbs into the skin, it stimulates healing at a cellular level.
This non-invasive and painless treatment is used for a variety of cosmetic and medical conditions, such as tissue repair, skin conditions, pain relief, and reducing inflammation. Red light therapy is safe to use since it is non-invasive and the light does not generate heat in the cells. Red and NIR light photons have clinically proven positive effects on the body’s tissues, and no adverse side effects have been reported.

Session Duration & Frequency
· 10-30 minutes per session is recommended.
· We recommend using light therapy at least 1 time a week and up to 5 times a week for optimal results.
· Distance of 8”-14” for deep tissue and 16”-24” for superficial skin therapy
· We recommend you start slower/farther at first and work your way up to closer distance/longer exposure once your tolerance to light has been found.
Eye Protection
Eye protection isn’t necessary, but we don’t recommend you look directly into the LED lights as it can be uncomfortable. For this reason, we recommend you wear the eye protection provided. You can also bring your own eye protection.
Clothing
Make sure all the areas you are treating are fully exposed to the light and not covered by any fabric or clothing.
Effects
It is common to feel warmth during and after your treatment. Over time, and with consistent treatment, you can expect to feel more muscle relaxation, reduced stiffness, and inflammation, and pain relief. If any type of discomfort or excessive sensitivity is felt, please decrease your exposure time, or increase the distance to the light.
Risks of Red Light Therapy
No severe side effects are associated with RLT, and it is considered a safe and pain-free treatment. In the case of minor red light therapy side effects, some have reported headaches, irritability, and eye strain. The main cause of these red light therapy risks is the intense color or brightness of the light, which can be avoided by protecting your eyes during your RLT session and avoiding staring directly into the light.
If you suffer from bipolar disorder, consult with your doctor before pursuing red light therapy, as there have been a few, rare cases of RLT causing mania in bipolar patients.
EMF
We sometimes hear concerns about the effects of the electromagnetic field (EMF). Electronic devices, such as LED therapy devices, emit an electromagnetic field as a by-product of the energy they use and create. Users frequently question us about whether it’s healthy or safe to stand in close proximity to a red-light therapy device, or if there is any danger posed by the EMFs the device produces. All of our red light therapy devices are EMF shielding devices that prevent the LED drivers, the LED board, and the power cables from emitting EMFs.
We have ZERO EMF emissions at the minimum usage distance of four to six inches. Zero.
