Experience Infrared Light Therapy at Revive Sauna Suites

Infrared light therapy utilizes the healing power of infrared light to gently and comfortably heat the body directly, unlike traditional saunas that heat the air around you to make you sweat. 

Infrared light directly penetrates the body, gently elevating the core temperature. As your body absorbs the infrared heat, it will increase thermal energy resulting in a deeper detoxifying sweat. This process allows for a more comfortable experience at a lower temperature. 

 

The sauna cabins are used to emit infrared light waves that are not visible to the human eye to generate this heat. Infrared Light is utilized in full-spectrum infrared saunas for its therapeutic benefits. The air temperature is less important than the quality of the infrared heat.

The Therapeutic Far infrared heaters surrounding you in each of our sauna cabins are the exclusive True Wave® combination of carbon/ceramic low EMF / low ELF heaters. These Far Infrared heaters run the entire width of the back wall, on each side of the cabin, and the full width under the bench, surrounding you in healing infrared heat. There are also (2) Full spectrum (near, mid, and far) infrared heaters in front of you that deliver heat that allows for the deepest penetration.

       TIPS : 

Arrive a few minutes early.

You will be more relaxed if you are not rushing. This also leaves time for you to use the restroom and refill your water bottle before your session is scheduled to begin.

Take your time. 

Don’t stress and rush yourself through a relaxing sauna session, but instead be aware of your time before heading in and plan accordingly.

Designed for Your Comfort

At Revive, we have thoughtfully designed our private suites to create a comfortable and truly Zen-like atmosphere to make your experience with us exceptionally relaxing.

Each individual private suite features a thoughtfully planned dressing area complete with a mirror, a catch-all for your watch and jewelry, a hook for your purse, and a clothes hanger for your convenience. Additionally, a bench is provided in each room for dressing or taking short breaks to cool down if needed, ensuring your comfort throughout your session.

Tip:

Never turn the temperature gauge down.

If you get too hot simply open the door and allow the cooler air to enter the Therapy cabin, this way the heaters remain on and you are still getting the benefits of the infrared wavelengths. 

If you turn the temperature down, the heaters will turn off once they reach the new set temperature and you are no longer getting the benefits of the infrared wavelengths. 

The Experience

When pre-booked online or through our app,  we will pre-heat your sauna for around 10-15 minutes depending on the temperature of the room the sauna is in.  It should be at around 100F -115F when you arrive and you will see optimal temperatures ranging, on average, from 110F to 145F during your

 30-minute to 40-minute session .  

You will get all of the relaxation and detox benefits of a traditional sauna with the increased health benefits that infrared light therapy offers at a much more comfortable temperature. Infrared saunas are also dry saunas; this makes for a more enjoyable and relaxed sauna session.

We are always on hand to help you get the most out of your session. We will guide you through the different sauna options and make sure that you're set up so that you are comfortable throughout your session. Plus, our suites are designed to be private and cozy, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvinating experience.

Indulge in a 30-40 minute session, tailored to provide you with the ultimate relaxation experience. We strive to make your visit to Revive as convenient and relaxing as possible. 

 Your session at Revive includes:

- Full towel service including a large body towel, a hand towel for sweat absorption during your session, and a towel for the floor. Extra hand towels are readily available in each suite, with additional towels available upon request.

- After your session enjoy the refreshing sensation of a chilled washcloth infused with Eucalyptus or Lavender, or opt for a plain cloth, simply request this preference in the memo section when booking.

 

- Feel free to bring your refillable water bottle and refill from our water cooler as needed.

 

- A Fire TV is in each suite with ample entertainment apps. The TV audio is directly connected inside the sauna cabin. 

- Enhanced Audio Sound System Bluetooth and AUX inputs make it easy to connect and listen to your audio devices.

- Experience the added benefits of the medical-grade chromotherapy in each sauna cabin, enhancing your session's rejuvenating and healing effects. Choose from one of twelve colors or auto-cycle through all color tones.


- For your added convenience, we offer makeup removal wipes, ponytail holders, and eye protection for red light therapy sessions.

Before

your visit

  •  Stay well hydrated. Drink liquids before your appointment.

  • Taking a shower or bath before a sauna session tends to increase perspiration as bathing opens the pores.

  • Dry brushing before showering will also help to open pores and stimulate the lymphatic system.

  • Do not apply lotions or makeup before, allowing your skin to breathe.

  • Limit food intake to a light meal or snack an hour before your sauna session.  Your body will be able to detox more effectively because it will not be using that energy for digestion.

  • Do not use the sauna following strenuous exercise. Wait at least 15 minutes to allow the body to cool down completely.

  • Wear clothing that is cool and loose-fitted or bring some to change into after your session. 

  • Arrive at least 5-10 minutes early to check in and use the restroom if needed.

  •  First-time Revive guests, please arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can give you a quick tour of our facility and your private suite. We will then give you a quick overview of the full-spectrum infrared Sauna and how to get the most out of your session.  We will also go through the chromotherapy options in your sauna cabin and your entertainment options and their connectivity.   

During

your visit

  • Use the restroom before entering the suite so you will not need to interrupt your session.

  • Stay well hydrated during your session. You are welcome to bring water into your suite but please do not bring it into the Sauna cabin.

  • Towel off during your session (blot). This will help the body perspire more freely.

  •  To relieve sore and tight muscles, massage those areas for faster healing and effectiveness.

  • Never sleep inside the sauna while the unit is in full operation.

  • Do not turn the temperature down. If the temperature is turned down the heaters will shut off when they hit that temperature. You will continue to sweat but will no longer be receiving the benefits of the infrared light. 

  •  Don’t let yourself get overheated. Open the vent or door if you need to cool down. Step out and take breaks when needed. There is a bench if you need to sit outside the sauna cabin to cool down. End your session early, if needed. Listen to your body!

After

your visit

  • Blot any access sweat.

  • Use the cool washcloth provided to refresh yourself.

  • Wait at least 30 minutes before taking a shower or bath. Allow your body to cool down naturally. 

  • Continue to hydrate throughout the day or evening.

  • Some minerals can be lost in perspiration. Supplements can also be taken to replenish minerals.

  • replenish your electrolytes if necessary.

  • Continue to feel the benefits!
