Red Light Therapy

Revive Sauna Suites
Red/LED Light Therapy is a process of emitting light wavelengths through the skin to stimulate your body’s natural healing and regeneration processes.

When delivered within the optimal wavelengths and energy levels, red and near infrared light protects your body’s cells from nitric oxide damage, which can otherwise stop the cell’s production of ATP when you’re stressed or ill. Red light photons allow your cells to continue utilizing oxygen effectively by minimizing the absorption of nitric oxide. Red light therapy can reach all the way into a cell’s mitochondria to stimulate healing and regeneration to help improve your appearance, performance, and overall well-being.

Our Red Lights panels, at Revive offer targeted light therapy that penetrates deep into the body, bringing comfort to tired muscles and enhancing blood circulation. By incorporating Red-Light Therapy into your self-care routine, you will discover continuous muscle relaxation, relief from tension, and a renewed sense of energy.

Rejuvenating Red Light/LED light Therapy can be used for temporary pain management such as joint and back pain, sore or torn muscles, sprains, arthritis, post-surgical scars, burns, wounds, and more. When used with infrared technology, light therapy (phototherapy) is one of the most effective and noninvasive ways to improve overall wellness.

Combining seven powerful wavelengths of light, our light panels feature Blue, Red, and Near Infrared spectral outputs utilizing the blue light of 480nm wavelengths, a perfect blend of deep red light consisting of both 630nm wavelengths and 660nm alongside an optimized near-infrared blend of 810nm, 830nm, 850nm and 1060nm wavelengths.
-
It is common to feel warmth during and after your treatment. Over time, and with consistent treatment, you can expect to feel more muscle relaxation, reduced stiffness, and inflammation, and pain relief. If any type of discomfort or excessive sensitivity is felt, please decrease your exposure time, or increase the distance to the light.
-
Combining the Powers of Red Light and Infrared Therapies, Full-spectrum infrared Light therapy involves using infrared waves to penetrate the body. These waves promote the healthy function of the body’s cells and in turn improve healing, circulation, and detoxification. Infrared heat therapy penetrates nearly 5 centimeters into the skin, making it perfect to use in conjunction with red light therapy which penetrates 5 millimeters. By combining the therapies, you allow multiple levels of your body to heal and rejuvenate.
Session Duration & Frequency
-
10-20 minutes per session is recommended.
-
We recommend using Red Light Therapy at least 1 time a week, and 3 to 5 times a week for optimal results.
-
Distance of 8”-14” for deep tissue and 16”-24” for superficial skin therapy
-
We recommend you start slower/farther at first and work your way up to closer distance/longer exposure once your tolerance to light has been found.
-
Make sure all the areas you are treating are fully exposed to the light and not covered by any fabric or clothing.
-
Eye protection is not necessary, but we recommend wearing the supplied goggles or bring your own sunglasses. If you do not wear eye protection, we recommend you do not look directly into the LEDs as it can be very uncomfortable.
-
For skin benefits, we also recommend removing any makeup or lotions before your Red Light Therapy session.
-
When incorporating Infrared Sauna Therapy into your routine, it's advisable to begin with Red Light Therapy on dry skin. This sequence is recommended as it allows for the optimal absorption and effectiveness of both therapies
